On Saturday August 14th, 2010, the new executive boardmembers (Yanil Rosario, Mabel Rodriguez, Ludwig Vasquez, Kareng Pena and Frandy Andujar) launched their very first event: the LAESA BBQ, in Van Cortland Park. The current members of LAESA-SHPE as well as the alumni attended. The day resulted in success where members bonded, played games and ate all afternoon. People listened to music, danced and socially networked as well as played cards, dominoes and volleyball. By the end of the night everyone was exhausted and members were pleased.
